Dear St. Stephen’s Family,
As many of you now know, late last week I tested positive for COVID-19. I have been isolating and recovering at home. I want to thank everyone who has reached out with notes and prayers.
Please know that I am recovering well. I still have a few pesky symptoms that are lingering, but I am doing well. As I continue to recuperate, I will be working from home for the rest of this week. I have been in contact with Irene and both of our wardens, and they are amazing at making sure the parish continues to run smoothly. I am still available by phone or email, please don’t hesitate to contact me; I want to stay in touch.
After discussing it with our Wardens and others in leadership, rather than trying to rush back to be back this Sunday, The Rev. Dr. Linda Kapurch+ will be with you all. I will be back in the office next Monday. I was scheduled to be away on a Lilly Grant retreat on Sunday, November 20th, so Rev. Linda+ will be with you for the next two Sundays. I look forward to being back with you in worship on Sunday, November 27th fully recovered and ready to celebrate the season of Advent!
